Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding that the school receives to raise achievement and improve outcomes for children. We aim to narrow gaps in achievement between different groups within the school and in comparison, with national averages.
We will be able to use the grant in a number of ways, whilst ensuring it is carefully targeted for those eligible children in order to help them achieve their potential both academically and socially. The main ways in which the money can be spent are:
- Achievement and standards including additional class based or intervention work to accelerate progress of targeted groups or individuals.
- Learning Support to enable children to fully access learning and accelerate progress where there are specific barriers.
- Pastoral Support to help increase self-esteem, develop social skills and support children to make appropriate choices in order to maximise learning opportunities.
