Anti-bullying event with Leicester City in the Community.

The Y4 children worked with other children from different school, getting to know each other and working as a team to complete tasks and play games. The theme for Anti-bullying Week 2024 is Show Respect.

Walk like an Egyptian!

Cleopatra visited our year four pupils. She was very impressed with our knowledge of life in Ancient Egypt. Cleopatra taught us all about the mummification process.

Science fun

In science, year four children learned how to measure temperatures accurately using thermometers. They carried out investigations to learn about the three states of matter. They are now know everything there is to know about liquids, solids and gasses.

Design and Technology

upils in year four really enjoyed designing and building their own frame structures. Before designing their frame structure, they explored different ways of constructing a structure using matchsticks and modelling clay. They discovered that for their structure to be sturdy and stable, it would need to have a wide base.
